Course of the Operation

Depending on the complexity of the operation, it may last up to several hours. We usually perform face lifts under general anaesthesia.

We always make sure that the skin is not only tightened, but that the subcutaneous tissue is also relocated back to its original position. Depending on your individual wishes and requirements, we can combine this operation with a brow and/or neck lift or other rejuvenating measures such as dermabrasion, lipotransfer, etc.

 
After wound closure an elastic bandage is applied for one or two days to reduce the possibility of swelling. We start with the removal of stitches a week after the operation at the earliest. Our patients are ready to socialize again after approximately two weeks.
