Extraction of teeth and broken roots

To avoid unnecessary complications, tooth fragments, such as the tips of roots, should not be left in the jaw bone, but extracted as soon as possible. The same is true of teeth that cannot be treated.

Leaving aside unusual complications, each tooth can be replaced by an implant. Under certain conditions immediate implantation is also possible which is the placement of an implant in the same location where a tooth or root has just been extracted.
