Dental implants are artificial tooth roots, which are anchored in your jawbone. Most implants are made of medical titanium, a material which is well tolerated by the human body. If requested, we can also use metal-free implants made of zirconium dioxide. In the case of a complete or partial loss of teeth, implants represent the best and most up-to-date treatment. Dental prostheses (crowns, bridges, or dentures) can then be fixed over the dental implants (artificial tooth roots). A bridge needs at least two implants as anchors to guarantee long-lasting stability. If the patient's own teeth are gone, removable implant-supported dentures need at least four anchors to spread the pressure evenly. No matter if you have a single or a number of implants, they always provide a natural feeling as if chewing, eating and laughing with your own teeth. We even attain excellent results in the case of extremely advanced gum recession and bone loss. Implants give you your "own teeth" back. Nothing can slip or fall out and no one notices that your teeth are artificial.
Contrary to conventional bridges, implants do not require the grinding down of healthy teeth. Provided they are inserted shortly after the extraction of the original teeth, they help to prevent any quick bone recession that may naturally occur. In both arches each and every tooth can be replaced by an implant, but the patient should have completed his or her adolescence and thus natural growth. Otherwise there is no age limit. Implants are a permanent solution in the case of a partial or complete loss of teeth. Both from a functional and an aesthetic point of view they resemble the best treatment possible. Within no time you can heartily chew again and a smile reveals a perfect set of teeth. Therefore, implants have a noticeable effect on your general wellbeing, self-confidence, and your overall quality of life.
Independent of the age of the patient, permanent implant-based crowns and bridges are the most advantageous treatment in every respect. No matter if patients are suffering from progressive bone loss or not, they can all benefit from our gentle treatment procedures. Some of them even drive long hours to get that kind of treatment.
We frequently use so-called same day or immediate load implants with great success. The following page provides more details on immediate load implants: course of the operation.
We thus ensure that all partial treatments taking part during this course of treatment are carried out by experts in a competent manner.
Costs per titanium implant (operation and aftercare inclusively): EURO 800 - 1200

The cost of dental implants largely depends on the type or brand that is used. We offer a range of different systems from which the patient can choose. They are all leading and highly successful quality products. Our range allows us to select the most suitable product which does not necessarily have to be the most expensive one. Of course the patient is involved in every decision along the way. So, apart from basic medical and technical requirements, it is mainly the patient's individual choice that determines the overall cost.
