Excessive Sweating and salivary secretion

Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) causes a substantial impairment to one's quality of life, both at home and in the workspace.

Using Botox (botulinum toxin) we can significantly reduce sweat secretion in the armpits, on the palms and soles of the feet for about six to twelve months.

Under the armpits a combined treatment of the perspiratory glands with curettage and a technique similar to liposuction has proven most efficient. The procedure is carried out on an outpatient basis and is completely painless.

Over the years we have further improved upon this method by developing special suction tubes and by optimising tumescent local anaesthesia, so that the risk to the patient is fairly small. With this method we can achieve a major reduction in the production and secretion of sweat.

If the patient is interested in a permanent solution, our surgical procedure is the best option.

If you suffer under excessive salivary secretion injections with Botox actually are the treatment of choice.
